European Youth Week Art Competition – Your Values In Your Hand

Your Values are what you care about and believe are most important; they help you decide on priorities in life and influence your decision-making. Although you may have the same core values as somebody else, values are personal to you!*

To celebrate European Youth Week 2024, we are inviting young people to participate in an art competition organised by Eurodesk Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to express your creativity and connect with like-minded individuals.

So, get ready to capture what your core values are! Read on for all the competition details.

Theme of the competition: Core Values that are important to you.

  • Draw or digitally create an A4 poster that captures Your Hand and what value(s) are important to you and that you want to see represented in Europe and at the European Parliament.
  • Send your poster and application form to the email address of your local Eurodesk office. View the list and contact details for local Eurodesk offices here.
  • Young people aged 13–30 who are resident in Ireland.

For young people under the age of 18: parental or guardian consent is mandatory for the young person to enter the competition. You can download the consent form here and submit it with your application.

For those who are 18+: by submitting an entry you agree to the use of your submission for promotional purposes, including those outside of the competition as the organisers see fit, and to your data being processed in line with Léargas Personal Data Policy.

There will be three national winners selected for each age range:

  • 13–15 Category
  • 16–18 Category
  • 19–30 Category

National winners will get One4All vouchers!

1st prize – 100€

2nd prize – 60€

3rd prize – 30€
