The National Ploughing festival exhibits a cross – section of everything associated with rural Ireland. From the national ploughing finals in tractor, vintage and horse ploughing, an 80 acre trade show of agriculture machinery, lifestyle ,livestock, leisure, forestry, bio-energy, garden, home, food fair, craft village.
This year, Eurodesk Ireland will, for the first time, be at the Ploughing Championships as part of the European Commission Representation in Ireland stand! We are really excited about this great opportunity to promote European programmmes such as DiscoverEU/Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps to young people attending the event!
At the Eurodesk space run under the motto ‘Europe is Open to You’ Eurodesk Coordinator and network members from Crosscare, Youth Work Ireland and Europe Direct will distribute information materials and answer questions from the public.
