Youth for Climate Justice Project brings together a small group of young people to learn about climate justice and how they can help achieve it. Time Commitment

The first workshop will be in-person in Dublin on Saturday, 21st September. Online workshops on Zoom will run from 18:00 – 20:00 each evening on 23rd, 24th, 25th and 30th September, and on 1st October. Participants are encouraged to do a little follow-up reading/watching on issues raised in the online sessions in their own time (20 mins per day).

Following the online workshops, participants will work in groups to create a mini-social media campaign that will be disseminated as a follow-up to the project. Participants will also be given the option to work on a poster if preferred, or other options can be explored (podcast, video, etc). Participants should allow at least 3 hours for this activity, but can commit more time to this if they’d like.

To round up, there will be one more in-person workshop in Dublin on Saturday 5th of October.

Furthermore, participants will be invited to create and deliver their own short workshop on climate justice for the public with the support of VSI.
